Privacy policy

This privacy policy contains information on the data we collect from you, how we use that data and our legal basis for doing so. It also covers what rights and choices you have regarding your data and how we may share that data with third parties. This policy applies to all data obtained through your use of the ALIGN website including any (future) subdomains.

Who we are

ALIGN is a guidance tool on living wages and living income. Decent wages and income are an essential part of a sustainable and fair world economy. They are recognised in international agreements and commitments, such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. In this context, the concept of living wages and income (LW/LI), designed to ensure a decent standard of living, is becoming increasingly important and is gaining momentum.

Fairfood, Hivos, Rainforest Alliance and GIZ have joined forces to develop a tool that helps agri-food companies prioritise and reduce complexity around the issue of LW/LI, and directs them into action.
